What is it about? Yas Island is one of the most ambitious projects of the United Arab Emirates. The location is created for luxurious living, entertainment and business. It is an artificial reclamation with an area of 2,500 hectares with rich infrastructure.

According to the official Yas Island website, it has already been visited by 24 million tourists, and this figure increases by a million each year.
Of Yas Island's total area of 2.5 thousand hectares, beaches occupy roughly a third. The first of three planned construction periods was completed in autumn 2009, before one of the stages of the famous Formula 1 race held in Abu Dhabi.
