The most popular is the five-star Jumeirah Beach Hotel, consisting of 598 rooms and suites. There are 20 restaurants and bars on its territory, and the guests also have access to 19 beachfront villas.
Near the Umm Suqeim district, there are several large malls, among which the Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall stand out. The journey to them takes no more than 10–15 minutes. In Umm Suqeim itself, you can visit the small shopping centres J3 and The Mall, as well as boutiques and retail shops.

From Arabic, “Umm Suqeim” literally translates as “mother of Suqeim”. Suqeim is a local tribe in Dubai that lived for a long time in the territory of present-day Umm Suqeim. Today it is a popular, vibrant district of Dubai with beautiful parks and beaches.
You can use public transport or order a taxi. If you prefer to travel by car, you should drive along Sheikh Zayed Highway and turn at the Umm Suqeim intersection. Then follow the signs to easily reach the beach; there is free parking there.
